Digital Art
I created this poster for an SDSU Music and Dance event in the digital art app Sketchbook. The vibe was intended to be psycadelic with decomposing nature.
I created this company design for my dad's company OutPace, that works to cure ovarian cancer. I tried to make the ideas of OutPace into a Watchmen inspired superhero poster, showing one of their products actively targeting a tumor cell.
Mixed Media
To make this piece, I took a still life I made with brush pens and layered it on an image of the Colosseum using Illustrator. I added a quote from Cicero that represents the timelessness of art.
This piece is a poster for my band Crooked Straights. I took a picture of my bandmate/friend and I and broke it up into individual pieces and colored them to create a stained glass look.
This piece was inspired by a Radiohead song called "Present Tense" which describes escaping the chaos of the world around you by focusing on what you love. I used my brush pen sketch of a graceful dancer as the centerpiece and layered in newspaper headlines to represent the chaotic world. A glow emanates from the dancer along with the lyrics to the song to illustrate how the inner light can overcome the heaviness in the world.
Illustrator
I made this mascot banner for my digital art class, combining a role and an animal. I used a flying squirrel as a built in skydiver, and added a helment on top.
For my college digital art class, we were tasked to find an object in nature and depict it in four different ways: symbolic, technical, gestural, and colored version. We then applied this to a World Wildlife Fund card.
I created a few potential logos for an upcoming Vietnamese porridge restaurant called Chao Club. I have two logos with with different color variations.
Vans Shoe Design
For this project, I wanted to design Vans based off of famous album covers that I love. I generated mood boards (left) to inspired the overall aesthetic of my design (right).
Photoshop
I made this visual representation of the word Lichenology for my college digital art class. All elements of this image are layered including the lichen on the rock. I also used Illustrator to create a lichen-like pattern and customize the font shape.
For my Graphic Design class, I made a movie poster of my my original design. The concept behind this poster, is a movie of someone who navigates through their life with a continuous soundtrack playing in the background. Zero dialouge, just music.
Album Covers
